Mount Elephant, Victoria Blast Furnace (2011). The 17-metre high furnace is a monument to the days, in the 1870-80s, when the Lal Lal Iron Mining Co produced pig iron Lal Lal Falls Hotel (2011). This replaced what was known as the Railway Hotel, which was destroyed by fire in 1923 Bungal Dam (2011). A 47m high dam, across the West Moorabool River, retains a storage of 59,545 megalitres when full. Water in the dam is used as a domestic supply for Ballarat and Geelong Former Lal Lal Railway Station (2011) - the railway in opened here in 1862 Lal Lal Primary School No 863 (2011) - opened in 1866.
